The Manistee Intermediate School District is seeking a School Psychologist Apprentice to join our team. This position is designed for an individual currently pursuing a degree in school psychology who is looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a supportive educational environment.

Position Summary
The School Psychologist Apprentice will work under the supervision of a certified School Psychologist to support a variety of services for students and school teams. This role provides valuable practical experience in consultation, assessment, and collaboration within school settings while the candidate continues their graduate coursework.
Responsibilities

• Assist School Psychologists with student observations and data collection
• Support the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process
• Participate in team meetings and consultations with staff
• Assist with behavioral and academic data review
• Observe and support components of the psychoeducational evaluation process
• Perform other related duties as assigned under supervision

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in School Psychology
• Demonstrated interest in working with students in educational settings
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
