Physical Therapist - Full-time - Days - 80 hours bi-weekly

Position Summary: The physical therapist will accurately assess, differentially diagnose, and identify deficits in a patient’s ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. They develop an individualized treatment plan with patient-centered goals to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability, and work with the individual to prevent the loss of mobility.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Performs patient evaluations through the process of obtaining history, performing relevant systems review, and selecting and administering specific tests and measures to obtain data.
- Establishes an individualized plan of care and selects treatment techniques that address the specific impairments identified in the evaluation and in accordance with physician orders.
- Conducts ongoing reassessment of the patient and their response to treatment.
- Initiates and manages the discharge plan beginning at the first visit and continuing throughout treatment.
- Supervises and delegates to ancillary staff and students consistent with state laws and department policy.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy.
- Current state Board of Physical Therapy licensure.
- BLS certification.
Preferred:
- One year of physical therapist experience.
