Examples of Duties
-
Athletic Field/Parks Worker will work at various parks and fields in the City, performing a wide variety of maintenance and upkeep tasks such as:
- Trash pick-up and removal
- Landscaping
- Mowing
- Trimming
- Watering
- Painting
- Janitorial
- Sports field preparation
- Other various park grounds maintenance activities

Essential Qualifications
-
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess valid driver license and reliable transportation to and from work site
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with the general public
- Basic knowledge of small maintenance equipment
- Proven track record of success in operating equipment within an environment in which safety is the most important priority?
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to all requisite safety precautions and actively participates in ensuring the well-being of colleagues and the community.
