Job Description

The Transit Systems Manager, under the administrative direction of the Community Development Director, directs the development, operation, and maintenance of the Muskegon Area Transit System, a County wide public transportation system. This employee supervises personnel engaged in the operation of the Muskegon Area Transit System and is responsible for the ongoing development and improvement of the transit system. The Transit Systems Manager works with the Community Development Director to evaluate current transit operations as well as service proposals and performs related duties as required.

Additional Requirements

1. Possess an Associate's degree from an accredited college with a major in Business Administration or Business Management; AND Have a minimum of five (5) years of full-time work experience in the area of transit management and operations, fleet management, logistics, or business management.
2. Possess a valid Michigan driver's license.
