What's new with Aptar
TheTPM (Total Productive Maintenance)Technicianis responsible forthe development of a fully inclusive TPM strategy for Midland EFC while alsoperforming scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensureoptimalperformance and minimize downtime. This role includesmaintainingaccuratedocumentation,complying withISO standards,assistingwith repairs and improvements as needed, and working with Operations and Engineering to define the measurement systems and reaction plans to execute truly predictive maintenance.
This is how your journey begins:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks using designated computer systems (CMMS).
Identifygaps and opportunities in the existing PM system based on lessons learned from corrective maintenance and OEM recommendations for PM.
Document all completed maintenance activities accuratelyandtimely.
Identify, document, andmaintaina TPM system at AptarMidlandsuch as installation of equipment monitoring hardware, limit identification, and documented reactive steps.
Frequent usage of a computer system to generate reports, instructions, andsome presentationmaterial.
Assistwith minor repairs under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or designee.
Measure and inspect machine parts for wear, misalignment, or damage.
Remove and replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools.
Dismantle machinery using hoists, cranes, forklifts, andappropriate toolsfor access.
Locate and repair damaged air and hydraulic lines.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
What you will bring on the journey
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to interpret written, verbal, and ISO procedure-based instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable ofmaintainingaccuraterecords.
Proficient in standard computer operating systems and Microsoft suite of tools (Excel,PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible shifts andparticipatein training programs.
Broad knowledge of facility and equipment maintenance preferred.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
