Responsible for testing the end-to-end in-vehicle customer experience with the latest Connected Vehicle technologies in data, smartphones, and web services; develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end feature technical specifications and test plans for an excellent customer experience, legal compliance, and high-quality standards; coordinate test activities and reporting of test results and software defects; develop, execute, and review automation test scripts and results for connected features; work closely with Product Owners, Managers, Mobile App, in-vehicle, MMOTA, and cloud software development teams for accurate test suites; track change requests across client’s connected feature system levels and modify test execution procedures as needed; deliver effective verification metrics for responsible features and promote awareness of critical blocking items; drive software testing integrity and ensure traceability of requirements and test results; support DV Efficiency efforts to shift testing from Road to Lab to Virtual environments; conduct comprehensive validation and testing of Electric Vehicle (EV) features, including Intelligent Power (IP), Intelligent Backup Power, and Plug and Charge, ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experience; validate and verify advanced fleet vehicle features such as Top Speed Limiter and On-Demand Conditioning, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards; lead testing efforts for connected vehicle technologies, including Phone as a Key, Cellular Remote Start/Stop, and Intelligent Range, ensuring integration with cloud systems and mobile applications; validate the integration and functionality of key ECUs (ECG, TCU, and SYNC), ensuring smooth communication and interaction across multiple vehicle systems for a connected experience; validate vehicle communication with cloud-based systems and mobile applications, ensuring real-time data synchronization and performance optimization; develop and implement automated test scripts and processes for continuous validation of vehicle systems, including diagnostics, error reporting, and performance metrics; collaborate with cross-functional teams (software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers) to identify and resolve system-level issues and improve vehicle performance; design and execute test cases based on system requirements and user stories to verify feature functionality, reliability, and robustness under real-world conditions; conduct performance benchmarking of connected vehicle systems and provide detailed reports on test results, issues, and solutions to key stakeholders for improvement; ensure that connected and EV features deliver a seamless and intuitive customer experience, prioritizing ease of use, reliability, and security in all systems; utilize and apply knowledge of TCP, MATLAB/SIMULINK Tools, QXDM, QPST, QFIL, MultiComm, Putty, DPS Tool, WinSCP, Vector CAN, neoVI fire 2, Vehicle Spy, and Wireshark to perform assigned duties; perform comprehensive testing of in-vehicle customer experiences, including OTA updates, smartphone compatibility, and web services functionality; develop, execute, and review automation test scripts on Py test for TCU and GM vehicle features, ensuring efficiency and accuracy; work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and SW development teams (Mobile App, OTA, cloud) to align test suites with the latest feature designs; develop and execute functional tests within software on Bench Setup or vehicle testing; and deliver accurate verification metrics for connected features and reported test results and software defects to stakeholders.

Salary: $92,144 per year;
Education: Masters – Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
