Looking for a summer job where you can work in the parks and connect with the community? The City of Kentwood Parks & Recreation Department is hiring Seasonal Concession Attendants to staff our popular Snack Shack at Veterans Memorial Park.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, teamwork, and being part of the activities that bring our parks to life each summer.
What You’ll Do
As a Concession Attendant, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for park visitors by:

Preparing and serving food and beverages

Taking customer orders and operating the cash register

Handling cash and balancing daily transactions

Setting up and closing concession equipment
-
Maintaining clean and sanitary food prep areas

Stocking food, beverages, and retail items
-
Monitoring inventory and supplies
-
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
-
Providing friendly, courteous customer service
You’ll work at the Snack Shack concession stand at Veterans Memorial Park, open daily 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Work activity levels may vary throughout shifts depending on park attendance and events.
