The Position
Under the direction of the Director of Wellness, the Personal Trainer provides wellness expertise and guidance to Greater Midland personal training clients and members. This individual must maintain high personal standards and adhere to carrying out the Values and Purpose of Greater Midland.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Personal trainers answer questions on mental, physical, and aspects of wellness to the best of their ability and within their scope of practice.
- Work with a variety of people across all ages and abilities.
- Develop and implement programs aimed at achieving individual client’s goals.
- Possess strong communication with clients coupled with flexibility to accommodate scheduling requests. Hours vary and may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Utilize RecTrac and ADP to accurately report personal training statistics.
- Complete, in a timely manner, all requests from supervisor to ensure member satisfaction while adhering to existing process and procedures.
- Keep all certifications up-to-date, as applicable.
- Maintain proper dress code.
- Consistently demonstrates leadership behaviors aligned with Greater Midland’s values.?
Qualifications
- CPR & First Aid certifications required.
- Excellent people skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or Health Science, preferred.
- NCCA accredited Personal Training certification.
