Job Status:
- Hourly, Non-exempt
- Work Hours: 6:00am – 4:30pm M-Th. Half hour lunch. Two 15-minute breaks
- Overtime, other days, hours, and shift work may be required
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Meet the production schedule for their area
- Minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Manufacture urethane parts per specifications and work instructions
- Maintain the “Order, Organization, Cleanliness” of the factory
- Maintain accurate paperwork
- Follow all documented standard operating procedures.
- Sign off on appropriate documentation as required.
- Monitor, report issues, and suggest improvements on equipment and tooling
- Communicate information to and from relevant parties as required
- Provide input for process and productivity improvements
- Job responsibilities vary based on job assignment
- Any other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Capable of reading technical drawings
- Proficient in the use of computers.
- Excellent communications skills
- Must possess attention to detail, follow thru, and accuracy of tasks
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Able to operate an 8,000 pounds capacity forklift
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to wear nose and mouth coverings
