Roush has an opening for a Corporate Quality Manager located in Livonia, MI. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of corporate quality processes and related documentation necessary for the effectiveness of the Corporate Quality Management System(s) (QMS). The role will establish objectives, provide consultative services to internal departments and coordinate internal audits. The Corporate Quality Manager will administer the external audit process to maintain certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes objectives, audit plans and initiatives in support of maintaining the corporate QMS effectiveness and associated certification(s).
- Coordinates all aspects of the Internal Audit process including planning, training, reporting, and closure for any nonconformances found.
- Administers and coordinates the External Audit process in support of achieving/ maintaining 3rd party certification(s).
- Provides consultation and support to internal departments regarding quality best practices and compliance requirements.
- Supports business objectives that promote the corporate quality function.
- Provides written and verbal reporting as needed.
- Attends meetings as needed when corporate quality representation is necessary.
- Travel as appropriate in support of the corporate quality function.
To be considered a Corporate Quality Manager, you will need:- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of quality engineering or management experience.
- Knowledge of quality operating systems and their implementation.
- Knowledge of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 QMS standards and requirements for compliance.
