Supplier Program Coordinator – Integrated Equipment & Materials
Position Summary
We are seeking a Supplier Program Coordinator to support integrated equipment and outsourced material programs within a fast-paced, project-driven manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating supplier performance, monitoring project timelines, resolving engineering and material issues, and ensuring on-time delivery to support program success.
You will serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, and project teams to ensure equipment builds and outsourced materials meet quality, timing, and cost expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Equipment Programs

Host weekly meetings with suppliers and internal project teams to review open issues and action items

Monitor milestone matrices and project timelines to ensure design and build targets are achieved

Coordinate free-issue material delivery to suppliers to prevent delays

Conduct periodic supplier site visits to review progress and equipment status

Collect and submit shipping documentation for items delivered but not yet posted
Outsourced Material Programs

Review in-process supplier material to ensure on-time delivery

Provide purchasing with proactive supplier performance feedback

Coordinate with engineering to resolve design or specification issues (missing dimensions, incorrect material specs, weld specs, etc.)

Monitor supplier workload and escalate potential risks

Conduct site visits to assess supplier progress and performance
Additional Responsibilities

Provide supplier material status updates during internal and customer meetings

Drive improvements in supplier quality, workmanship, and delivery performance

Support supplier evaluations and risk management initiatives

Assist with resolution of supplier-related non-conformities

Collect and analyze supplier performance metrics

Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with corporate sourcing policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or material management

Experience in a project-based or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret engineering prints, specifications, and dimensional tolerances

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple suppliers and timelines simultaneously

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel required)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automation, tooling, robotics, or automotive manufacturing

SAP experience

Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and reporting

Understanding of budgeting and forecasting within a project environment

Experience working with both local and global suppliers
-
Comfortable working remotely and traveling for supplier site visits
