RESPONSIBILITIES: This position provides clinical and administrative supervision for programs and services under Pathways in Alger and Luce Counties, with some program implementation responsibilities extending across all four counties.
Responsibilities include direct and indirect supervision, coordination, and oversight of staff, including support staff, paraprofessionals, administrative personnel, and licensed clinical professionals across the disciplines of social work, psychology, nursing, clinical specialties, and psychiatry.
This role ensures the delivery and quality of services in multiple treatment areas, which may include outpatient assessment and treatment, targeted case management, supports coordination, Home-Based services, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), daytime and evening Emergency Services, community support services, and pre-vocational and vocational programming within the assigned counties.
The position oversees recipients served in contract residential settings, SIPS, and state and local inpatient facilities, ensuring that individuals served meet priority population criteria. Priority populations include adults with severe and persistent mental illness, children with severe emotional disturbances or developmental disabilities, and adults with developmental disabilities with significant impairment. Oversight of services to non-priority populations may also be required in accordance with state mandates.
Direct clinical service provision in Alger and Luce Counties may also be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Master’s Degree in Social Work and licensure as a State of Michigan Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required
o If no LMSW applicants are available, consideration may be given to candidates with other relevant master’s degrees
and appropriate Michigan licensure, including LLMSWs nearing full licensure
? Two to five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness required
? Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting preferred
