We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated SLP to join our Team!
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
2. State of Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license
3. Prior work in a school environment highly desired
4. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
NATURE OF THE POSITION:
To evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders that affect their academic performance. Work
collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized educational
programs (IEPs) and provide therapy to help students improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
? Evaluate and treat articulation, language, communication, fluency, and pragmatic disorders
? Develop and implement measurable IEP goals, plans and progress notes
? Maintain IDEA complaint documentation
? Document services for Medicaid and state compliance
? Train staff on AAC and classroom communication strategies
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
? Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding student needs and progress
? Other duties as assigned
