Job Title: Director, Operations Finance

Position Summary
The Director, Operations Finance, will serve as a key financial leader supporting DRiV's operations organizations. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Leadership to drive financial performance, improve cost competitiveness, and support strategic decision-making across manufacturing and distribution operations.
The position will be based at DRiV's Southfield, Michigan, location and will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and execution for the automotive aftermarket business.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic finance partner to Operations leadership, providing insight and guidance on financial performance, cost structure, and operational efficiency
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for operations, including volume, cost, margin, and capital planning
Drive standard costing, variance analysis, and productivity initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations
Analyze operational KPIs (labor, material, overhead, inventory, freight, etc.) and translate results into actionable recommendations
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, working capital optimization, and operational excellence programs
Partner with plant and supply chain finance teams to ensure consistent financial processes, controls, and reporting
Oversee capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and post-investment reviews
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with Tenneco financial policies and SOX requirements
Prepare and present financial results and insights to senior leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor operations finance team members
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
10+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to operations/manufacturing finance
Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and operational finance metrics
Proven ability to partner with cross-functional operational teams
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred:
MBA or CPA/CMA
Automotive, aftermarket, or industrial manufacturing experience
Prior leadership experience managing finance teams
Broad background in all aspects of financial planning and analysis
Proficiencywith the Microsoft suite, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), and SAP
