Manager, Professional Services

As a Manager in our Professional Services team at Thomson Reuters, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the performance and growth of a dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of consultants and trainers to deliver innovative solutions and best-in-class service to our tax and accounting firm customers.
We have office hubs in Ann Arbor (MI), Dallas (TX) and Minneapolis (MN). This position is also available remotely.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Manager, Professional Services, you will:
Manage a team of around 10 direct reports in consulting and training roles
Collaborate closely with several internal teams including product, technology and sales
Create and implement tools, processes and working practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of staff, and to enable staff to deliver best in class service in a profitable manner
Co-create strategic initiatives of Professional Services with senior leadership vision and guidance
Hire and onboard new staff
About You
You're a fit for the role of Manager, Professional Services if your background includes:
8+ years of experience working in a professional services organization or similar related leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, and/or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of the tax & accounting profession (preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated success in professional learning environment; quickly grasps new skills, principles and concepts
Leadership skills to support the recruiting, training and professional development of dedicated professional service team members, and management of team according to the standards for consulting and training delivery
Strong cross team/group/organizational collaboration skills. Must have the ability to achieve objectives by successfully interacting and collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and executive leadership
