The Quality Technician position at QuestSpecialty is responsible for understanding, applying, and documenting quality assurance processes applicable to the manufacturing operations. They take samples of products in various stages of the process and test them against standards defined in quality procedures. They document their actions, and ensure that all non-conformance are well defined, communicated, and actioned upon as defined by quality procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sample products in various stages of the manufacturing process and apply testing techniques as defined by the quality procedures.
- Document the testing of products in various stages of the manufacturing process as defined by the quality procedures.
- Ensure all non-conformance are documented, communicated, and actioned upon in a timely manner.
- Maintain work area in a clean and professional manner in order to ensure error free testing of products and good traceability.
- Strictly adhere to all quality, HSSE, and conduct standards set by the company.
- Diligently keep up with documentation and paperwork as required and/or assigned.
- Endeavors to deliver a zero-defect product.
- Other reasonable responsibilities as required.
