Seneca Foods Corporation's Hart, MI facility is currently seeking a Sanitation Employee to join our team. The Hart facility focuses on primarilyproducing quality products, which include Maraschino Cherries, Glace Fruit, and Ingredient Cherries.

Responsibilities:
Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Use proper Lock-out / Tag-out procedures
Maintain and operate forklift safely at all times
Complete daily forklift inspection
Properly use steam / hot water system
Properly use product and material-handling pumps
Read and understand the English language
Tote and barrel dumping
Dipping cherries from totes
Pumping processing and brine tanks
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Internal GMP/HACCP/BRC Training
Good communication skills
Trained and knowledgeable in the use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
Must pass respiratory fitness test
OSHA Forklift license
Wage is $21.83 per hour.
