Our partner in Jackson, MI is looking for a General Laborer/Loader to add to their team!
Shift: 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs. 6am-12pm Friday
Pay: $14.50/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labor / Loader to support operations in our Grinding Department. This role is responsible for loading and unloading materials, assisting machine operators, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities

Load and unload parts and materials into grinding machines

Assist grinding machine operators as needed

Move materials using carts, pallets, or forklifts (if certified)

Perform basic inspections of parts before and after grinding

Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Complete other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred (not required)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
