As an Instructional Aide, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our mission by providing personalized assistance to students with special needs, helping them succeed both academically and socially.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $17.50 or more per hour starting pay based on experience.
- PLUS $500 bonus stipends available each semester for those working in special education classrooms.
- Health insurance, or if no health insurance is needed—-we’ll pay you $661.84/month instead (yes, even during the summer break).
- Dental, vision, life, and accidental death/dismemberment insurance at no cost to the employee; CCISD pays 100% of premiums.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- 18 years of age or older and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or two years post-secondary education in a related teaching/special education field of study a bonus.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs helpful.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
- Flexibility to work with a team to assist students inside or outside of the classroom and may include supporting as a bus aide.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- A desire to continually increase your knowledge and an unrelenting ability to make positive change in the lives of students.
