Grandvue Medical Care Facility is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to support our Food and Nutrition Services Director in leading daily dietary operations in our long-term care facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of leadership, resident interaction, and hands-on food service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support dietary staff in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Help ensure compliance with health department and CMS standards.
• Support resident nutrition services and collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary team.
• Step in as department lead when the Director is unavailable.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare food service.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) within one year (if not already certified).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
