Job Description:
This position requires a person who is quality conscious and mechanically inclined. Willing to work in a team atmosphere. A very good attendance record and the ability to work on your own and take the initiative to complete the required tasks in a timely and organized manner. Also, good communication skills and a positive attitude are important.
Shifts: 2nd shift 4:30pm - 2:30 am (Monday - Thursday) (Friday OT)
Pay: $17.25/hr
Assembly Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Work at assigned station to assemble parts required for the finished product.
- Coordinate all parts needed to assemble the final product.
- Inspect parts and separate flawed components.
- Read and interpret work order travelers.
- Complete labor tickets accurately.
- Keep work area clean.
- Report labor hours and production count on labor tickets.
- Replenish the work station when finished for the next shift.
- Weigh completed parts as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Secondary Operator Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Ability to comprehend required gages
- Required to sit/stand for periods of time
- Required to record job tolerances on check sheet
- Ability to read blue prints
- Machine operating experience a plus
- Properly fill out inspection log (check sheet)
- Report labor hours and production count on labor tickets
- Report any deviations from limits to a set up person immediately
- Keep immediate work area clean and free of hazards
- Requires basic mathematical skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more and move pans of parts
