Excluding the summer season, which may be up to 40 hours a week, this is a fill-in/on-call, as needed position with no guarantee as to the number of hours worked in a given day/week/year.
Under the general direction of the Sheriff and in compliance with well-defined departmental policy and procedure, this employee performs routine marine law enforcement duties on a seasonal basis.
