ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Manages patient dental care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Records and maintains appropriate documentation on patient clinical records.
- Assists in the establishing of appropriate fee schedule, expense budgets, and program plans.
- Assists in the supervision of dental support personnel.
- Participates in GLBHC’s Quality Assurance activities as needed.
MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
- Assists in marketing and public relations of the dental program, including recruitment of providers as needed.
- Assists in interviewing of job candidates, trains and evaluates dental support personnel.
- Performs other functions relating to the GLBHC Dental Program as may be required.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Dental Officer or President/CEO.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Dental School. Possess DDS or DMD.
- Certified and licensed by the State Board of Dentistry in Michigan.
- 1-2 years in underserved area preferred.
