Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission, vision, and brand promise. You will do this by living out our core values in every service contact to both internal and external members. Essential Duties

Provide first level of technical support for staff

Support and maintain workstations, phones, printers, and other M1-owned devices including OS, software, and firmware updates

Troubleshoot issues related to network access, passwords, email, hardware/software, and peripherals

Adhere to helpdesk procedures and contribute to documentation in the knowledge base

Participate in the helpdesk schedule rotation and monitor ticket queues

Maintain system and data security

Work scheduled hours: 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. M-F, plus occasional Saturday shifts (8:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) and some off-hours for meetings, training, or maintenance

Travel to branches using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed per Federal rate)

Obtain Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification within first year
Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain maintenance schedule and inventory for IT hardware/software

Assist with data processing, clerical support, and ticketing system documentation

Prioritize and escalate tickets as needed to IT staff or vendor support

Clean and maintain equipment (computers, printers, etc.)

Support staff in proper use of technology

Serve as resource for specialized services, groups, or systems

Keep workspace organized and support department needs as assigned

Education and Experience
Any combination of the following:

Zero to three years of similar or related experience

Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or
-
Specialized certifications/training or job-specific skills via apprenticeship
Must have experience with:

Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

Adobe Acrobat

Windows desktop OS and modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)

iOS and Android devices

Basic networking concepts and security awareness
Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field

Understanding of cybersecurity (e.g., social engineering, encryption, malware)

Previous experience in a credit union or financial institution helpful
