The Financial Advisor in Training position is the first step within the Ameriprise career path journey.
In this role, you will receive the support and training necessary to obtain your SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and life insurance licenses. Once you obtain the required licensing, you will be eligible to forward your career.
With our team, you will start working directly with clients on their service needs as training and development continue via on-the-job mentorship and in-class and online training. Our training program is designed to help advisors build a deep understanding of products, services, systems, and tools needed to provide high-quality advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Study for SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and Life and Health licenses.
- Connect with clients on activities that do not require licenses.
- Enter necessary notes into the Client Relationship Management tool to detail client interactions.
- Accurately process trades, transactions, new business applications, and account maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and life/accident/health and variable contracts insurance license within 180 days.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Preferred Education: Post-Secondary Degree
