As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a critical role in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems

Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled PMs

Diagnose and resolve issues in a live production environment

Perform quality checks to ensure equipment meets production standards

Work closely with maintenance, production, and support teams to minimize downtime

Complete all required training in compliance with Adient and customer standards
Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma or GED
-
Requires at least 3 years of relevant field experience.

Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor is a plus
-
Prior experience as a Millwright, Electrician, or Machine Repair Technician in an automotive manufacturing environment

Experience in automotive sheet metal stamping preferred

Experience with large transfer and progressive dies is a plus

Working knowledge of PLCs

Able to work Second Shift: 1:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.
Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed

Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with support personnel
