Summary
Responsible for supporting production with tooling and setups for new and existing jobs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Presetting and measuring of tools and managing inventory control.
- Filling floor cabinets with supplies for production.
- Setting up of tools to support production efficiently.
- Distributing tools to floor operators.
- Identify tool issues/problems and bring to attention of Tool Crib Supervisor for resolution with engineers and/or process technicians.
- Alerts tool crib supervisor when low on inventory or when there is a discrepancy in inventory systems.
- Transfer tools to proper location i.e., rework, scrap, etc., using inventory control software.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one year technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
