Role Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Business Development Director in Michigan to lead strategic enterprise growth for our AI and GenAI portfolio. This is a senior hunter role responsible for originating and closing high-value, multi-service AI engagements anchored around Sanciti AI, Core AI Services, and TestAI.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, helping shape AI roadmaps and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own strategic new logo acquisition across Michigan-based mid-market and enterprise customers
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving AI platforms, GenAI agents, and enterprise AI services
- Build and sustain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and VPs of Engineering
- Position Sanciti AI as a core enterprise AI platform across SDLC automation and testing ecosystems
- Orchestrate internal stakeholders (pre-sales, product, delivery, executive leadership) to close transformational deals
- Develop account entry strategies, whitespace analysis, and long-term expansion plans
- Meet or exceed aggressive annual quota targets with disciplined forecasting
- Mentor mid-level business development professionals and contribute to Michigan go-to-market strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10–15+ years of enterprise new business development experience in AI, IT services, or SaaS platforms
- Demonstrated track record of closing $1M–$10M+ deals
- Strong understanding of GenAI, agentic AI, SDLC automation, and AI-driven testing
- Executive presence with the ability to sell vision, value, and outcomes
- Experience selling proprietary platforms or IP-led services strongly preferred
- Established Michigan enterprise relationships are a strong advantage
