Ten (10) Nursery Workers are needed to work in Livingston County, Michigan, handling nursery plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers. Workers will plant, weed, fertilize, water, spray, prune, dig, cut, transplant, and move plants using hand tools, wheelbarrows, tractors, or loaders. Duties include setting up and maintaining irrigation systems; hauling and spreading soil, mulch, fertilizer, peat moss, and other materials; cleaning work areas; maintaining grounds; and assisting with plant sales and deliveries. Work is physically demanding and requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking, stooping, and working outdoors in variable weather conditions. Workers must be 18 years or older, available for the full employment period, and able to obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license within two weeks of hire while maintaining a clean driving record. Weekend and holiday work may be required. The workplace is drug-, alcohol-, and tobacco-free. Bonuses may be offered at the employer’s discretion based on performance.

Work schedule: Generally, 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be offered but are not required.

H-2A workers who use employer-provided housing at no cost will be offered a wage rate of $16.15 per hour, based on the 2026 State minimum wage of Michigan.
