The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receiving, handling, storage, and shipment of materials, components, and equipment supporting automation and manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely material flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

Document and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials

Accurately enter received materials into the ERP system

Label, tag, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Shipping

Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation

Coordinate domestic and international shipments using approved carriers

Ensure compliance with shipping requirements, export documentation, and customer specifications

Schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Inventory & Warehouse Support

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories

Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment

Support internal material requests for production, assembly, and project teams

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
