Job Overview
This position is responsible for programming, optimizing, and integrating Fanuc robotic systems in a mechanically inclined shop
environment. The role includes robot programming, troubleshooting, vision setup, safety implementation, and integration with PLCs
and automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Programming, debugging, and optimizing Fanuc
robot programs (TP/KAREL)
• Jogging and teaching points to define robot
movement
• Setting up user frames, tool frames, and payload
data
• Modifying code to reduce cycle times
• Configuring 2D/3D iRVision systems for guidance and
inspection
• Implementing safety protocols, including DCS
• Diagnosing system errors and touching up points
using teach pendants
• Maintaining production uptime
• Backup and restoration of robot controllers
• Interfacing robots with PLCs and machines
• Integrating robots with PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens),
sensors, and peripheral automation equipment using
Ethernet/IP or Profinet

• ROBOGUIDE software for simulation, verification, and validation of robot paths and cycle times prior to physical
implementation
