Host / Hostess / Server Assistant – Guest Experience Leader | Downtown Frankenmuth
T.Dub’s Pizzeria & Pub is looking for friendly, organized, and reliable Host(ess)es/Server Assistants to help lead the guest experience from the very first moment to the last.

The Host(ess) stand sets the tone for everything that follows. This role is not just about seating tables — it’s about pacing the restaurant, managing guest flow, and creating a professional first impression.

What You’ll Do
- Greet guests promptly and warmly.
- Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates .
- Control seating flow to prevent flooding servers or kitchen.
- Communicate clearly with servers and managers about pacing .
- Answer phones and assist with reservations and take-out orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host(ess) stands, entrance, and dining areas.
- Assist with guest questions and service recovery when needed.
- Support teamwork as a Server Assistant throughout the dining room areas: cleaning and resetting tables, refilling drinks, etc.
What Success Looks Like
- Guests feel acknowledged within 30 seconds of arrival.
- Wait times are communicated clearly and accurately.
- The dining room fills strategically, not chaotically.
- Servers are not overwhelmed due to uneven seating.
- The entrance and dining areas remain clean and professional: tables promptly cleaned and reset, cleaned floors.
- Guests leave with a positive first and last impression.
Requirements
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay calm during busy periods.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous Host(ess), Server Assistant , or customer service experience preferred (not required).
