We have an immediate opening for an experienced Boring Mill Operator - This is a Devleig Boring Mill 96 " with an automation company.
Day Shift-Start Time, 6AM.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a Boring Mill with a Fanuc Controller
- Ability to make minor program edits (e.g., changing tool numbers based on the tool list provided by the programmer)
- Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., verniers)
- Ability to convert between inch and metric units
Requirements
Must be familiar with Fanuc Control systems.
Must be able to set up parts in machine.
Must be familiar with setting tools in machine.
Must be able to convert inch-metric.
Must be able to read prints.
Must be able to hold tolerances listed on prints.
Must be able to identify tools required to make parts.
Must be familiar with reading measuring equipment "i.e. Verniers.”
Must be familiar with setting parts with angled surfaces.
Must be able to load program.
Must be able to run part from start to finish.
Must be familiar with making minor edits to programs "i.e. changing a tool number to match what the programmer has listed on the tool list”.
Must be able to operate Hilo.
Must be able to operate crane.
Must be able to identify shown vs opposite parts.
