Westfall Technik is hiring Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operators
to fill new positions at its Wakefield, MI location.
Machine Operators are responsible for the proper operation of injection
molding machines and performing necessary secondary operations
at the press, such as trimming, visual inspection of parts according
to quality criteria, and proper packaging methods.
Must be proficient in quality inspections, finished product handling,
and any miscellaneous tasks requested by management.
Machine Operator vacancies are available on:
1st Shift Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm
3rd Shift Mon-Fri 11am-7am
Weekend Shift Fri-Sun 7am-7pm
Weekend Shift Fri-Sun 7pm-7am
Starting pay is $17.00/hr
Shift premiums for employees hired on 2nd, 3rd & Weekend shifts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior manufacturing experience is desired, but not required
- Positive outlook while working through obstacles
- Self-starter, high level of initiative
- Detail orientated
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills — written, verbal, active listening
