Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team at our Frankenmuth campus. In this role, you will provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care while working collaboratively with RNs, CNAs, and leadership to support the health, dignity, and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care to residents in a manner that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.

Conduct daily resident visits to observe, assess, and document residents’ physical and emotional status.

Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.

Keep Nursing Directors informed of residents’ conditions, changes in status, and other relevant clinical information.

Supervise nursing activities on the assigned unit and support staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Interpret, implement, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures for personnel, residents, medical staff, and the public.

Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff inquiries within established timeframes and policies.

Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, glove use, and appropriate disposal of soiled materials.
Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing.

Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (home health, medical, surgical, or critical care).
Schedule and Compensation

Employment type: Full-time

12-hour shifts on Night Shift: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am

Starting pay: $30.40 – $32.90/hour, based on experience and licensure.

Night Shift Differential: $0.50/hour.
