What you'll do
As a Tax Senior Analyst, you will be part of a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment where innovation and impact go hand-in-hand. You will gain exposure to a wide array of complex tax matters, including U.S. federal and state taxation, international tax compliance and planning, and transfer pricing across a multinational structure.

The Tax Senior Analyst is a full-time position located in Southfield, MI and reports to a Tax Manager. Paid relocation is not available for this position.
Contribute to the preparation, review and third-party coordination for the filing of federal, international, state, and local income tax returns, tax payments and workpapers, including sales and use, property, and other indirect taxes.
Contribute to the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including the calculation of current and deferred tax liabilities and related tax footnote disclosures.
Provide support during tax audits.
Participate in tax forecasting, tax-related account reconciliations, and preparation of tax-related journal entries.
Conduct research on various tax issues.
Support the calculation and accounting of transfer pricing charges, including the review of third-party prepared transfer pricing documentation.
Regularly communicate with internal corporate service team members, statutory accountants and third-party providers for various tax compliance matters.
Mentor and share best practices with tax analyst team members.
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across tax.

What you'll need
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax; CPA or MST preferred
Minimum three (3) years of professional experience within the accounting or tax function of a multi-national entity or public accounting firm
Knowledge of U.S. federal, state tax compliance; experience with partnership taxation is preferred
Experience with U.S. international reporting and foreign tax concepts preferred but not necessary
Proficiency with ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes
Ability to remain focused and generate accurate work-product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work with a variety of people across seniority levels, cultures, and geographic locations
Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities effectively, adapt to changing circumstances with a solutions mindset to meet key deadlines under time constraints so work is completed in an accurate, timely manner
Handles confidential information with discretion
High proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite required.
Experience with SAP S4 Hanna and OneSource preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
