The Baraga Area School district is accepting applications for the following position:
Varsity Softball Coach
Preference will be given to those individuals who possess the following qualifications:
- Working knowledge of softball and its fundamentals;
- An individual who has, by example,. demonstrated behavior and leadership in working with softball players, who possess the enthusiasm and dedication for carrying out the responsibilities of this position, and who puts the safety and welfare of students before the betterment of personal goals and achievement;
- Experience in coaching and playing softball will be evaluated;
- Procedures demonstrated to handle locker room supervision and care of equipment will also be considered;
- Must pass a criminal background check;
- Fund raising required (self supported program.
