Job Duties: Position offered is for an experienced stone mason laborer with minimum of 6 months experience in stone mason labor who is able to work with and model company methods and procedures with up to 3 peers, build stone structures, such as piers, walls, and abutments. Lay walks, curbstones, or special types of masonry. Assisting with constructing all assigned project and properties. Mark reference points on construction materials, cut tile, stone, or other masonry materials, align masonry materials. Mix mortar or grout and pour or spread mortar or grout on marble slabs, stone, or foundation. Remove wedges, fill joints between stones, finish joints between stones, using a trowel, and smooth the mortar to an attractive finish, using a tuck pointer. Build paver and natural stone patios, retaining and sitting walls, fire pits and fireplaces, oustdoor kitchen and grill islands. Decorative stone overlays – mud set/mortar joint patios, and walkways. Thin and full veneer stone installation and including demolition, excavation, trenching, grading, and drainage work. General stone mason labor using equipment for prepping and installation of projects and properties. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment.

$29.21/hr. $43.82/hr. O.T. Employer will offer 40 hours/wk. of work w/1/2 hour of lunch each workday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., M-F, Some O.T. and weekends may be available, but are not guaranteed.

The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be bi-weekly.
Assistance securing lodging is available. Optional employer provided lodging is available for approximately $550.00/monthly to be deducted bi-weekly for relocating workers only.
Other benefits provided to U.S. and H2B workers are the following: mid-season, end of season, and sign on bonuses may be available but not guaranteed. Optional $300.00 advance against pay available for relocating workers only, to be deducted from next two paychecks. Uniforms will be provided and $110.00 reimbursement for boots and/or raingear. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.
Additional deductions include: If selected, $275.00 deducted bi-weekly for optional employer provided housing. If selected, $300.00 advance for relocating workers only to be deducted from the first two full paychecks.
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek.
The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
