Description
CU*Answers is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Technician Intern to support our organization's ongoing configuration, deployment, tracking, and return of client workstations. This temporary role offers hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware setup, and IT operations while working with both internal teams and external clients.
*This is a temp position lasting up to 6 months. Up to 12 months if actively enrolled in school full-time.
What You'll Do
* Install and configure software on new PCs
* Set up PC hardware for internal users
* Configure CU*Base Update Appliances
* Transport IT equipment between CU*Answers office locations
* Track, document, and manage equipment in motion
* Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting
* Securely erase data from PCs
* Review documentation checklists and assist with process improvements
* Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
* 1-2 years of prior office or IT-related experience preferred
* Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work with both internal teams and external clients
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately
* Reliable attendance and punctuality
