Job Description Position Overview: This position is responsible for the operations and profitability of the location. This role includes customer relationship development, personnel growth, facility and equipment optimization, financial management and short & long-term planning for the location. This role is responsible for feed mill functions at this location. Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to: * Responsible for all functions of feed manufacturing and delivery. Maximize efficiencies daily * Hiring, developing and maintaining a team of employees for the production and delivery of feed * Manage location risk including implementation and compliance with FSMA standards, ongoing safety site inspections to manage quality control standards and procedures set by management. * Ensuring lock out tag out and all safety procedures followed daily. * Managing ingredient receivers and entering inventory into Feed Mill Manager * Managing inventory quality, purchasing, and shrink on a daily basis * Manage and oversee facility assets with routine maintenance. Driver equipment inspections properly documented for operation and safety. * Maintain six months of retained samples of incoming and outgoing ingredients and feeds by load or batch * Ability and willingness to work as business conditions warrant or as deemed necessary Skills and Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years supervising an operations team * Experience with lock out tag out * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and ability to effectively utilize company specific technology platforms * Must be a team player and responsible for demonstrating and maintaining a professional working environment and facility * Ability and desire to solve problems * Detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Demonstrate essential abilities including personnel management, communications, customer focus decision making, and drive results * Financial knowledge including reading and understanding financial statements Education and Experiences: * Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. #LI-LV1
