Machine Repair
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment, repair machinery and equipment
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment
- Discuss machine operation variations with co-workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
- Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
- Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem area
- Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair
- Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience in machine repair at an Automotive Manufacturing facility
- Journeyman Card Preferred
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Position is on 3rd shift
- Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am; overtime including weekend may be required
- Pay is based on experience
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
