Body Engineering Design & Release Engineer, Entry Level - 22909BR

Currently, we are seeking an entry level candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in our Dearborn, Michigan location.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering with at least one semester of experience working with CAD software and sheet metal design.
Responsibilities:
* Design & release sheet metal components and assemblies for various body structure & closures systems.
* Includes front end & underbody, upper body and closures (doors, hoods, deck lids & lift gates, static & dynamic sealing.
* Implement product development process including product planning, development, validation & launch.
* Ensure products meet function, quality, cost, weight, and timing requirements.
