Four (4) Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers are needed to support the production and delivery of squash, potatoes, pumpkins, onions, carrots, beans, peas, and apples. Work will be based in multiple counties across Michigan, with deliveries and service areas extending throughout Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Drivers will operate tractors, forklifts, and other agricultural equipment; attach farm implements; load and unload bins and containers; inspect, maintain, and repair trucks and farm equipment; haul supplies and crops to storage or market locations; transport workers to and from job sites; and monitor daily operations. The position is paid hourly and requires a minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL Class A experience operating a manual multi-speed truck with trailers ranging from 40 to 53 feet. Applicants must hold a valid CDL Class A license (or international equivalent), be able to read and write, and provide verifiable job references from the last 3 years. Drug testing may be required during employment at the employer’s expense.

Work schedule: Generally, 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but are not required.

Housing: The employer provides housing at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residence at the end of the workday. Separate sleeping quarters and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers; family housing is not available.
