Title: Mechanical Engineer (Military Vehicle)
Location: On-site Sterling Heights, MI
Pay/Duration: 45.00 - 47.00 per hour 6 months plus contract to hire
REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
BS Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Electrical Engineering
5-7 years in a professional engineering role.
KEY SKILLS: Creo / Teamcenter / GD&T / FEA / NASTRAN / LS-DYNA /
- Ability to design articulating, locking or sliding provisions to Human Factors requirements
- Able to provide technical guidance with Design Services to create models, installation and detail drawings and provide technical support for concurrent engineering
- Able to support procurement and on site prototype build/integration activities and resolve issue(s)
-Able to read technical drawings and perform tolerance stacks. Working knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
-Possess a working knowledge of FEA ( ANSA, with Nastran and/or LS-DYNA solvers) is a plus
- Performing failure analysis & be able to provide technical direction for corrective action solutions
