Requirements for this position include:
- Monitor the contractor’s work for compliance with all project documents.
- Interface on a daily basis with SME CEI Team Members. On construction projects interface with your SME team members, contractors, other consultant staff and MDOT or local agency representatives.
- The ability to coach and teach SME technicians to perform their role as Inspectors for MDOT and Local Agency projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency with basic software such as Windows O.S., Word, Excel, FieldManager / FieldBook and MDOT ProjectWise.
- Team members must have good organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Identify and solve problems, and work well in a team environment.
- Exemplify safe work practices and follow the company's compliance standards. Motivated self-starter and able to work independently.
- Punctual and hard worker.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new challenges and learn new concepts.
