Job Description: Schulte Boutique and Lifestyle, LLC seeks to fill four (4) temporary, full-time seasonal dishwashers from 04/01/2026 to 11/03/2026 at 8593 Cudahy Circle, Mackinac Island, MI 49757 to be responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen utensils, plates, glassware, pots, and pans. Maintain clean and organized workstations in the kitchen, mop floors, and clean kitchen equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Assist with cleaning and organizing service areas, banquet items, and dishware from all outlets. Support overall kitchen and service operations by keeping all areas orderly, restocked, and ready for use throughout each shift. Ensure proper trash removal and disposal in accordance with sanitation standards, and assist with putting away daily orders and organizing storage areas as needed.
Requirements: No minimum education or prior work experience is required.
Special Requirements: Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with the culinary and service teams is essential. The role requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, with frequent pulling, pushing, and bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals in a kitchen setting. Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to cleanliness and safety are expected. On-the-job training is provided.
Work Schedule: Employer offers at least 40 hours of work per week. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday with two shifts available (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).
Wage: $12.89/hour. Overtime hours may be available based on business needs at a rate of $19.34/hour.
Single Work Week Guarantee and Frequency of Pay: Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages use. Workers will be paid biweekly.
On the Job Training: On the Job Training is provided.
Deductions from Pay: Employer will make all deductions from the Worker's paycheck required by Federal, State, or Local Laws. Subsidized on site lodging is offered at a rate of $50 per week. If utilized, Employer will deduct for the cost of lodging at the rate of $50 per week.
Board, Lodging, or other Facilities: Subsidized on site lodging is offered at a rate of $50 per week. If utilized, Employer will deduct for the cost of lodging at the rate of $50 per week.
Transportation and subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Daily Transportation to and from Worksite: Not provided. Subsidized on site housing is within walking distance of the worksite. Public transportation is also available in Mackinac Island.
Visa Related Expense: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
Three Fourths Guarantee: The employer will offer employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period as required by 20 CFR § 655.20(f).
Earned Sick Time Act: In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
