Position Title: In-House Detention Person
Reports To: Secondary Principals
Work Period: To begin January 5, 2026
Benefits: Determined by the Non-Affiliated Contract
Salary & Schedule:

Rate: $19.55 per hour

Hours: 7.25 hours per day

Schedule: Monday through Friday, on days of student attendance

Workday: 7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Lunch: Paid lunch
Qualifications:

Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred

Background in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Teen Programs, or equivalent experience/education in a related field

Strong disciplinarian

Proven ability and success in working with at-risk students
