The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan (bme.umich.edu), a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill a tenured/tenure-track faculty position at any rank in our College of Engineering track. This is a targeted search in which research interests should be related to histotripsy, a non-invasive, mechanical ultrasound tissue ablation technology, and the successful candidate is expected to be a faculty member of the newly-established Histotripsy Center at the University of Michigan.
Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in engineering or a physical science-related discipline and demonstrated excellence in or a commitment to teaching, research, and scholarship.
