A leading automotive engineering and validation organization is seeking a Validation Test Technician to support diagnostic tool and system validation in a real-world garage setting. ay Rate: $27.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week during regular business hours

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tool testing and execute assigned validation test procedures in a garage environment
Inject faults into vehicle subsystems to simulate real-world failures
Run system test cases to verify that diagnostic tools correctly identify injected faults
Document pass/fail results and detailed findings in the validation test management system
Create and log defects as needed based on test outcomes
Collaborate with diagnostic engineers to communicate findings and testing insights
Maintain awareness of current and emerging automotive technologies
Participate in training to learn new vehicle systems, tools, and testing methods
Support other validation team members as needed to meet program objectives
Qualifications & Requirements
Working knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and electronic control systems
Valid, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week during normal business hours
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify testing inefficiencies
General computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of automotive electronics and electrical schematics
Previous dealership or repair technician experience
ASE or Michigan Mechanic Certification (Master preferred)
Bachelor's degree or two-year degree in an automotive-related field
Two or more years of hands-on repair technician experience
