Overview:
At Dorle Controls, we’re seeking a Crash Safety Systems Evaluation Engineer to support the development and execution of vehicle safety test programs. You’ll lead occupant sled and safety sub-system testing, manage test properties, and ensure compliance with FMVSS, IIHS, and US NCAP standards. This is a high-impact role where precision, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration ensure safe and reliable vehicle performance.

Role and Responsibilities
- Support Vehicle Safety Engineering development and delivery of test program
- Deliver quality test events through fixturing, test set up, test property pedigree verification.
- Manage, track and deliver any required test property updates and retrofits
- Drive delivery of testing to project milestones
- Ensure quality test reports and proper data collection
- Manage parts and logistics for testing development activities
- Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies
- Communicate all test results to the cross functional team
Preferred experience and skills
Candidates should have Occupant Sled and Safety Sub-System testing experience and a deep understanding of FMVSS requirements (208,207,210,216,225), corresponding test procedures and required instrumentation. Candidates should also be familiar with IIHS and US NCAP testing procedures.
